What Data We Collect

The Math Gym asks only the minimum amount of information needed to make full use of use our system. At registration all users create a unique user name. This name is the name you and other players will see when you are competing and should never be your complete real name.

We also ask for date of birth, postal code, country of residence, parent/guardian's email address. A child may also be registered via a school or club account. To do this, their teacher/ club leader has to create a school/class account and a class password with which students can register. In this instance no emails are sent to the parent/guardian as the teacher/ club leader is acting in loco parentis (on behalf of the parent or guardian).
